Personality[]
Suzy is a vocal and prideful young girl who always speaks from the heart. She easily recognizes when people are hurting, but is also aware when they are being manipulative and disingenuous. She was ashamed at Jin Wang for giving up on being made fun of simply so that he can get into soccer, but respected him for his honesty. She does not hold grudges as she seems to consider him a friend and is shown hanging out with Anuj in a platonic way, though it is implied that she is very much aware of his crush on her.

Season 1[]
In A Monkey on a Quest, Suzy meets up with Jin Wang with the rest of the Culture Club. She explains how she wants to make a protest over the video about Jin, because it is a microagression. Not being used to being the center of attention, she inadvertently embarrasses him somewhat. Later, Suzy tries once again to get Jin to make a statement about the video, but he nervously turns her down, which she interprets as him being afraid to speak up and gets Wei-Chen instead. The next day, he tells Suzy that he will make a statement, however, it is of him telling everyone that he is okay with the video and that Greg is a nice person, disappointing her. Jin is later confronted by Suzy who scolds him for giving in to Greg's bribe in favor of a spot on the soccer team. While she criticizes him for his practice, she commends him for his honesty.
In Hot Stuff, she and Jin appear to be on better terms, as she even attends his birthday party at the bowling alley hosted by Amelia Taylor. She later tells Jin that she is also there keep Travis in line should he say something offensive. Once the party ends, Anuj lets it slip that he and Suzy are "together", though she vehemently denies it.

- In the original graphic novel, Suzy was a fellow student who tried to distance herself from Jin due to their classmates' racism.
