Mahi Alam is a Bengali-American actor, singer and songwriter. He portrays the recurring character of Anuj in Disney+'s original series American Born Chinese.
General overview[]
He was born in Tangail, Bangladesh to a Bengali mother and father. At the age of 6, Alam came to America with his family in order to pursue the arts. Some of his most notable roles are Yakub in the NBC series New Amsterdam, and Samir in the Facebook Web Series Strangers. In addition, Alam is also majoring in Music Technology at the school of Steinhardt in New York University.
