Ben Wang is an Asian actor, writer and director who portrays the main character of Jin Wang in Disney+'s original series American Born Chinese.
General overview[]
Wang has a starring role in the upcoming Disney+ original film Chang Can Dunk. Other credits include CBS’s MacGyver, Search Party on HBO, the Hulu teen comedy Sex Appeal, Tracy Morgan’s The Last O.G., and the upcoming original feature film Sight starring Greg Kinnear and Terry Chen. Wang is also a musical theater actor, with credits Off Broadway and in the Broadway-bound cast of Sing Street the Musical. In addition, he was a director and writer for the 2021 short film Walter and France[1] He is represented by Stewart Talent and Artists First Management.
In February 2022, it was reported that Wang along with Michelle Yeoh, Yeo Yann Yann, Chin Han, Daniel Wu, Ke Huy Quan, Jim Liu, and Sydney Taylor were cast in starring roles for the aforementioned series American Born Chinese[2]
